Actually, he's angry because he got forked and will lose his rook. Black king is in check, and therefore must move the king this move. White queen will take the black rook next move.
I can't see the whole board, but I am guessing there is a White rook on A1 (block by the kid's arm).
I wouldn't say it is such a bad position for Black. 2 Rooks, Knight, Bishop vs Queen, Rook isn't too bad.
The kid's probably piss cause he doesn't know how to use minor pieces and is in check.
No indeed, missing queen or not, with two rooks and two minor pieces (from what I can see), black is FAR ahead in material but it looks like white may have a shot at drawing by perpetual check, I'm guessing that's why the player having black doesn't look any too pleased.
Black's knight and rook in the far corner are landlocked.
if king goes north a file I am going to play the queen to the top file and check him right back to where he was, I won't bother taking the knight now, I will check him on the second to last file and the king will go either up or down, I would say up top file, leaving the knight hanging but I wouldn't even take that,
now my queen is on the second to last file and I will play the whites rook to the open file ( i think e)
white wins
if you take my pawn with your rook I will go back and take the whole b file with my rook, and its like mate on the next move,
if you play your own rook behind your advanced pawn, I think you will have at least a slim chance of forcing me to trade rooks, but I do not think you will be holding onto that knight in the end,
this is an easy win for white, I would play anyone as white in this position
i think if the black king goes down a file from the picture and white queen goes up to third file, black king moves, white rook to e1, black rook to g7 and
white rook to e4, black rook to g5,
in some variations here it looks like you might be able to defend with your rook (trading rooks) which is good for black here, but you would have to be careful to not lose outright, this is a strong attack.
i don't see any variations where you can keep your knight and then the a file pawn for white march, 5 moves from queen
Assuming we have our materials correct. By the looks of it, Black already has both knights both bishops and one rock and 4 pawns.
This leave white with a rook either on A1, B1 or A2 since those are the squares the arm is blocking.
Now if thats the case, its black to move:
... Kc8
Qa8+ Rb8
Qa6 Kd8
Qa5+ Ke8
Qa4+ Kf8
at which point black is safe and can bring Rf8 for safety, push your FG pawns and connect the rooks.
I think best case is a draw for white by playing Qa4+ and Qa6+ repeatedly since black can't bring his rook into play unless the white Q does something dumb like a8 with Kc8
There is no open file for white to play cause every file is closed except for b which black already owns. I take black in this position any day. I don't think white can win. I'm going to have to get a chess board out and actually analyze this position more for fun though :)
if you ...Kc8 then white Q would not go to a8. Rather Qc6+ forcing you to go either b8 or d8. Either side black will lose after I move Rd1 and threaten a subsequent mate after I move the king away (c4 probably) to free the lane. Black has nothing immediate to attack White's king and black cannot defend from mate with only one rook in position to defend. Kc8 is a losing move. Better to move to d6 at the beginning but from there you will at least lose the rook on b2 from a subsequent pin. Black loses most likely from there.
Just leads down a line where you pick up the knight on the back rank. In doing so though you've given a free move to my rook and put your queen in a bad position...
Im thinking he is not an angry child. Im leaning toward the fact he was caught mid expression during a playful taunt. Or he is posessed and should be hung and burned like the whitches of salem.
As a chess player, let me explain to everyone what's going on. There's too many posts with incorrect analysis about the game.
It's quite simple, really. White just "forked" black. It's obvious that white just moved and it's black's turn, as evidenced by the black king being in check. Notice the fork. White threatens the king and the rook at the same time! Black must move his king (because he is in check) and white will take the rook next move. The kid playing black is angry because he just realized he got forked and will be losing his rook next move.

Actually
Queens move like all of the pieces on the board.
Actually...
Queens don't move like knights, which is why knights can be so valuable in trapping them, despite their (the knight's) medium-range movement.

A brief look at the board shows a couple of reasons why he's not happy:
