These are the works of the Ukrainian Psyho studio made for "Madagascar" travel agency. The slogan of the agency was "Madagascar - a piece of the world", so Phyho literally cut the planet into pieces, each symbolizing a different kind of vacation. That's how the "pie concept" was born. Good appetite everyone!

I really love this concept.

I really love this concept. Good work!

Great lizards, those are amazing!

If those are real, that's incredible. It'd be difficult to eat, considering that the water looks more like some sort of jello. Nice to look at, not so sure it would be as tasty.

Oh course tis real.

I like the fresh approach of abstraction in this images.
The clean look of this works is very pleasing to the eye !

pie-shaped?

It's a pity they are not more pie-shaped (with one curved edge) and less triangle shaped!

Good observation; I realize

Good observation; I realize that they do indeed look too artificial and need that rounded back curve to really look like a pie!

you people, why don't you

you people, why don't you complain about how it doesn't have a crust as well? Why do you question the artist? Maybe the intention wasn't to make it into pie-slices, but of course that never entered your tiny minds.

um. It says right there in

um. It says right there in the article that they were SUPPOSED to be pieces of pie. DUH. Did your minuscule brain consider reading that?

Good job!

Good job and nice render. Do you know with what software and renderer theses shots were made ?

They're computer-generated for anyone wondering.

The below is Studio Psycho's About:

"We have begun the work in 2001.

The basic direction of activity of the company is granting a full spectrum of services in the field of a design and web-programming.

Why to us it is necessary to address? First, we are do our work well. Secondly, we love challenges. Thirdly, it's pleasant to work with us.

We wait for your call!"

Translations

Fortunately computer generated art is better than those horrible computer generated translations. TBPTWGI (Translations by people, the way God intended.) LOL

Seriously, it is unfortunate that most people who NEED and use these "Babelfish" type computer translation programs are completely unable to recognize what kind of mess that comes out the other end.
